Dog Attacks

The vast majority of the dogs we encounter are truly friendly and affectionate. We call them “man’s best friend” for good reason. However, every once in a while there is a dog whose owner has not accepted that his or her pet has vicious tendencies or an owner who has trained the dog to be aggressive towards strangers. Dog bite injuries can be quite severe. Most dog bites are from animals familiar with the victim and have never demonstrated an aggressive behavior towards others. These situations make it difficult for an injured person to collect compensation from an insurance carrier or even their homeowner’s insurance policy.
